No such thing as coincidence

Today I unexpectedly received a Facebook private message from a friend who I haven't spoken to in awhile. The crazy thing is, she was on my mind yesterday. Coincidence? I don't think so!

While researching the topic, I discovered this article which sums up how I feel. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Have a blessed week!

{Couples that pray together stay together}

When my husband and I were raising our babies we had some tough times. We wish we could go back in time and take back every single argument. Live and learn, right?

Now we have chosen to focus on the good memories we had in the past. We're continuing to move forward → as a closer, more peaceful family.

Our relocation from California to Texas was a good decision. We feel we're exactly where we need to be. God has a BIG plan for our lives AND each one of yours!

Ever since we started praying together before bed, our marriage has blossomed! I happened to find this article, which has some great suggestions for strengthening your marriage. Enjoy!

Juice Reboot Q&A

A few weeks ago I did a 3-day juice reboot. It ended up being more of a commitment than I expected, but it was well worth it.

Here are some questions I was recently asked:

Have you ever done a cleanse before? If so, what did you do?
I once did the RAINBOW LIGHT Cleanse Away 7-Day Renewal. This is my first time doing a cleanse with raw fruits and vegetables.

What were your top 3 reasons for doing the cleanse?
Boost my immune system, increase energy, and begin to consume a diet consisting of mostly raw fruits and vegetables.

What was the hardest thing to give up?
Coffee! I really enjoy the taste and aroma of a hot cup of black coffee with raw honey each morning. Now I only consume one small cup of coffee each day. I've really cut back.

Do you plan on doing another juice reboot in the near future?
After the juice cleanse I decided to become a pesco-vegetarian, which means I consume fish, dairy products, and eggs along with plant foods. I no longer eat meat or poultry. As of now, I feel much better and don't feel the need to do another cleanse anytime soon. However, depending on how my body feels in a month or so, I might change my mind.

7 year anniversary ❤

As I sit here and ponder the last 7 years of marriage, my heart and soul feel overjoyed. God is not the only one who loves me in the midst of my brokenness. He has blessed me with a husband who does too.

Don’t worry...I’m not going to put on a game face and pretend our marriage has been perfect. Let’s be real. No marriage is perfect or ever will be. However, it can be an exciting journey.

I have discovered what it takes to have a long-lasting relationship. The answer is community.

Ever since my husband and I found our church home, things have never been the same. Once we began attending every Sunday combined with applying what we have learned, serving and worshipping, our relationship grew stronger.

But it didn't stop there.

Things changed once we started attending a community group together on Tuesday nights. Real healing and transformation has taken place. We are headed down a new path.

The next 7 years are going to be amazing!

Bring on the challenges. Together, with Jesus Christ on our team, we can face anything that comes our way. We have the ability to lead by example, since little eyes (our precious children) are watching us.
